Rotunda Habilis
Events offering female early-career researchers the opportunity to discuss career options and experiences with more senior colleagues.'Rotunda Habilis' events are aimed at female postdoctoral researchers who are either planning or completing their habilitation period, have already completed their habilitation period, or who are considering embarking on the professorial career path. These events, which feature expert speakers, are organized at irregular intervals by the Central Officer for Women's Affairs and Equal Opportunities. The meetings are based around moderated discussions, facilitating the exchange of knowledge and experiences, and allowing participants to discuss different perspectives and strategies available in the pursuit of a career in research. Meetings tend to center on career planning and networking, but are shaped and guided by the questions and contributions of participants. Meetings also give early-career researchers the opportunity to mingle, ask personal questions, and make new contacts. We welcome ideas regarding possible guest speakers and topics for discussion, and always do our best to implement any such suggestions.
