HuSG – Domestic violence and intimate partner sexual violence
The World Health Organization (WHO) considers violence, and domestic violence in particular, to be one of the most serious risks to the health of women and their children globally. WHO report 2004 and 2013
Charité recognizes that this problem is widespread, and that it is usually associated with serious and long-term health problems.
Through the implementation of this important program of interventions based on principles advocated by S.I.G.N.A.L. e.V. (an NGO focusing on health sector interventions against domestic violence), Charité is making a significant contribution to preventing domestic violence, and to helping those affected by it – whatever age they may be.
