Rahel-Hirsch-Fellowships
On behalf of the Medical Faculty of Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, the Committee for the Promotion and Support of Young Researchers (Kommission für Wissenschaftliche Nachwuchsförderung und Weiterbildung) invites applications for the Rahel-Hirsch-Fellowships scheme. This scheme offers 5 Fellowships to early-career researchers planning on pursuing the extended postdoctoral qualification period known as 'habilitation'. The fellowship scheme is aimed at young researchers who, due to their solid track record in science/research and, wherever possible, teaching, are likely to be in a position to complete the habilitation period in a timely manner. Fellowships are awarded by Charité’s Committee for the Promotion and Support of Young Researchers.

The fellowship scheme is aimed at postdoctoral researchers and W2 professors on fixed-term contracts who, for family and/or personal reasons, were forced to take a career break, and who would like to qualify for a senior position in research and teaching.
